Early Education Program

All Souls' Church located in Chatan-Cho, Okinawa, offers an Early Education Program for two-year olds as well as for three and four-year olds.

The purpose of our Early Education Program is to provide an outreach to the community, serving both the parents and their children by providing an open cultural experience, a nurturing Christian environment for learning, and growth through play and social interaction.

Our education program provides preschool age children with a place where learning can be encouraged, wonder supported, and spirits nurtured. Our teachers are competent and caring teachers who enjoy being with young children, who understand them and how they learn. We learn by doing in thematic/unit based learning centers and classroom activities.

We feel young children are a gift from God and are naturally joyful and grateful. As a Christian program, we would hope to encourage a sense of thanksgiving for God and His creation.

Goals
• To provide a Christian program to meet a specific need in the community.
• To provide a safe place for your child(ren).
• To provide free play and age appropriate activities.
• While not intended to indoctrinate the Episcopal teachings, Bible stories, Christian values, and Music will be a part of the curriculum.
• To introduce children to Japanese and Okinawan culture through our Japanese teachers and assistants.

Mothers Day Out Program

Our All Souls' Mother's Day Out Program, an outreach of All Souls' Anglican Church, Okinawa, is designed to give children a safe, Christian environment that allows growth in social, language, and spiritual development while giving Moms (or Dads) a morning off to pursue personal interests.
